Who is Murad Nazar?
I have developed a robust professional background in Marketing & Sales, characterized by more than 20 years of experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from United Arab Emirates University and a master's degree in business administration, which laid the foundation for my career. I began my career as a Sales Engineer at ABB, United Arab Emirates, where I joined ABB in 2003 and have held various local and global positions in power products, systems and the Electrification business area. Currently, I hold the position of Regional Sales and Solutions leader, Middle East, Africa & Turkey based in the United Arab Emirates, where I am responsible for the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area.
Throughout my career, I have exemplified leadership and dedication steering ABB to meet the mission and vision of the company.

The role of a Regional Sales and Solution Manager for the Middle East, Africa & Turkey encompasses a variety of responsibilities and functions aimed at driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering strategic partnerships in the region.
This new role comes with a blend of strategic thinking, market insight, leadership skills, and relationship management to effectively drive sales and solutions in the diverse and dynamic MEAT market.
With close to 23 year at ABB, what are some of the major developments and trends you’ve encountered within the industry?
Over the past two decades, ABB has transformed significantly to maintain its leadership in electrification and automation. The company adopted a decentralized operating model to enhance responsiveness by bringing decision-making closer to customers. ABB also realigned its business portfolio to focus on high-growth markets like discrete industries, transport, and infrastructure.
