Swedish National Day - We did it!
Who would have thought that we would celebrate one of our most important days in Swedish History virtually?
Well, we didn’t, but we did it!
Thank you to all of you who listened in on Saturday - we hope that you enjoyed our 30 min of celebration. We were amazed to see close to 60 participants, members and families from around the world listening in.
We would like to thank H.E. The Ambassador Henrik Landerholm for the engaging speech to the Swedish Community. We are very grateful for the hard work that you all do for us.
We would also like to thank Lisette Uhlmann and her wonderful family, husband Robert on piano, performing a song that really captures the moment of today - Så länge vi har varann / As long as we have each other, by Ratata. Their daughters Melody and Felicia singing Idas Sommarvisa together with all of us truly got us into the summer spirit. Lisette also led the singing of the National Anthem. Your support is truly heartwarming.
