Business Sweden during Arab Health 2020

On the occasion of Arab Health 2020, Business Sweden together with the Embassies of Sweden in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt arranged a Swedish Business Networking Breakfast which focused on healthcare trends and opportunities in the Middle East. We were happy to welcome almost 60 guests both – from Sweden and from the region – who have enjoyed the provided networking opportunity and also insights on the developments in different markets in the Middle East shared with them by H.E. Mr. Henrik Landerholm, Ambassador of Sweden to the UAE, H.E. Mr. Niclas Trouvé, Ambassador of Sweden to Saudi Arabia and H.E. Jan Theseleff, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt.

We listened to an informative presentation on healthcare trends and opportunities in the region delivered by Mr. Massoud Biouki, Trade Commissioner & Market Area Director Middle East at Business Sweden. Finally, we have learnt interesting insights from the discussion panelists – Mr. Niclas Jacobson, Deputy Director-General and Head of the Division for European Union and International Affairs at the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of Sweden, Mr. Anders Lönnberg, Sweden’s Commissioner General at Expo 2020, Ms. Mikaela Annerling Swahn, Regional Director at Swecare Foundation and Dr. Erik Wassberg, CEO at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman who have all shared their experience within healthcare in Sweden and in the Middle East.
