Abu Dhabi Sundowner

The first event of the year - Abu Dhabi Sundowner on the 13th January 2020 was a lovely evening with closer to 50 guests at the Ambassador’s residence.

The evening started with some networking while enjoying delicious finger food and drinks organised by our member Smørrebrød.

We had the pleasure of listening to the Vice President of Gulf Countries at Ericsson, Mr Wojciech Bajda about how they have held the flag high in the GCC for 40 years as well as how 5G will affect the market.

Managing Director, Bird & Bird, Mr Anders Nilsson gave his interesting ‘finger food’ tips on the legal aspects in the region. Happy to hear that there are some great developments happening in the country.

The networking continued and some fantastic business connections were made. We were happy to see our members of SAAB, GAC, ABB, Business Sweden, Clever Travel and many more. We were also pleased to welcome a few new social and professional members to the Swedish Business Council.
