SBC Open Golf 2025
The 60 players geared up for the highly anticipated SBC Open Golf at The Els Club in Dubai on Friday, 28th February! It was a day full of energy, excitement, and fierce competition. The Swedish Business Council’s hostesses, Christina, Johanna, and Lisa, had the honour of welcoming the golfers to the event together with Caroline & Marie dressed in the Swedish National Dresses.
Thanks to CMS, our Hole-In-One sponsor, every player was treated to a fantastic goodie bag filled with branded CMS golf balls, a stylish bottle, and a useful golf towel, ensuring everyone was ready to tee off in style.

The day kicked off with lunch at the courtyard, where players networked and caught up. Afterwards, they hit the driving range for some pre-game practice, followed by a crucial stretching session led by 5 Iron Golf. Let’s just say, these golfers weren’t just good with clubs—they were flexible too!
At 1 pm sharp, the shotgun tee-off began with all the action unfolding. The incredible hole sponsors of the day—including Grounded Design, Nordic Homeworx, Media One / Studio One Hotel, and AARO—brought a fun, vibrant atmosphere to the course with exciting activities and challenges that kept players engaged and entertained.
After the final putt was made, guests gathered to enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar, courtesy of Vitamin Well and Absolut Vodka. The lively crowd was in high spirits as the energy from the course carried over into the evening.
The evening wrapped up with a fantastic awards dinner with 80 guests that brought everyone together for a night of celebration. Main sponsors were thanked with a golfing accessory, and a box of sweets from Goodiset while the players and their guests were treated to delicious Swedish cuisine, a thrilling raffle, and fantastic live music. The perfect ending to an unforgettable day of golf, networking, and good fun!
