New corporate membership rates
The Executive Committee and the SBC members approved an increase in the corporate membership rates during the Annual General Meeting on the 14th March, which is effective by the 1st April 2023.
EXTRACT FROM SBC´s ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION:
Resolutions concerning changes in the Articles of the Association require at least two-thirds of the votes present at the AGM.
RATIONALE:
SBCs membership rates have been the same for many years, while expenses have increased significantly in the UAE, such as different event fees, licenses and admin fees to the bank.
SBC has upgraded the tools used to conduct more efficient business, such as investing in credit card payment options, artwork tools and CRM, resulting in higher admin expenses.
Significantly increased number of members and events per year, taking up more time from the employees who are now all employed at 90%, leading to higher salary expenses.
Membership rates to increase in line with the service offerings that include (but are not limited to) a more engaged and dedicated account management team in tandem with a substantially higher network reach through our various channels that include digital, social media and events.
Corporate Membership Rates, effective by the 1st April 2023
Rates are based on a 12-month membership excl. 5% VAT
Gold Membership From AED 5,000 to AED 6,500
Silver Membership From AED 3,000 to AED 4,000
Bronze Membership From AED 1,500 to AED 2,000
Supporting Membership From AED 3,000 to AED 4,000
Overseas Membership From AED 1,500 - Without change
