National Day Road Trip
One of the most important days in the Swedish calendar is the Swedish National Day which is celebrated on the 6th June. The Swedish Business Council team got dressed up in the national dresses and packed the Volvo (of course) with the typical Swedish Fika; cinnamon buns that were freshly baked by the corporate member Smörrebröd. The trip started in Jebel Ali Free Zone and continued via Festival Plaza and JLT and finished off in Dubai Science Park to complete 10 visits among our Gold Members. We wish we could have split us into 130 to visit all of our corporate members though, but what a day of celebration!
On the 7th June, we also had the honour of being part of Electrolux´s National Day Celebration in their offices, where they were serving Swedish fika including a Swedish Cake, and holding an exciting quiz - ´Who knows Sweden the best?´
