Nordic Open Golf 2022

After two years of no golf tournament, we were very happy to swing along this event once again. On the 11th March at 11 am we welcomed the first players to The Els Club, Dubai Sport City. 60 players geared up to the Nordic Open Golf which turned out to be one of the hottest days of this year so far.

With Volvo Cars as the main sponsor, each player received their tournament shirt and golf balls branded Volvo, as well as a bottle of Tetra Pak water. SBCs member, Evy Technology was present to apply sunscreen mousse on all players to ensure that no one got burnt.

Players enjoyed lunch at the courtyard as well as practicing at the driving range before the Caddie sponsor Upandrunning performed the important stretching prior to the game. What a group of flexible players we had...!

The shotgun tee off started at 1 pm. The hole sponsors of the day created a great vibe on the course, including Volvo cars offering a weekend test drive in an XC40 Recharge if doing an hole-in-one, Vitamin Well, Eveons, Centaurus Yachts, LARTE by Studio One, QWERTY by Media One and Thelin Data were all offering activities on the course. The law firm CMS sponsored the exciting putting competition at the end of play. When all player came back from the sweaty play they received a drink sponsored by Absolut.

With great energy and a happy crowd the awards dinner kicked off with all the players and their guests who enjoyed some Swedish food, raffle and great music.
