Nordic Open Golf 2020, Powered by Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment
On the 12th March at 11 am we welcomed the first players to the Els Club. What an exciting day ahead of us. 56 players geared up to the Nordic Open Golf day. Each player received a goodie bag with their tournament shirt branded Volvo, a bottle of Vitamin Well water, a lunch voucher by IKEA and of course 3 golf balls which were sponsored by Aaro. Emirates handed out caps and other important items at the registration desk. Stretching is of course always vital before a game which Ian Houghton former owner of SHP held. Thank you Ian! The Shotgun tee off started at 1 pm. Our sponsors were placed on the golf course creating a vibe such as Vitamin Well, SAAB, GAC and My Dental Clinic. My Dental Clinic also held the putting competition at the end of the play. At the After Play Lounge we welcomed Seawings who did a paper plane competition. Each winner won a discounted flight with Seawings. In the bar, Absolut sponsored a drink.
With great energy and a happy crowd the awards dinner started with 75 players and guests. Big congratulations to the winner Ingmar Ljungkivst at Prologia. The evening continued with laughter and singing and finished with Irish songs. We say no more…
