Job Description
Preparing financial statements for statutory audits and tax books
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and coordination with shared services centre.
Responsible for statutory audits and liaising with internal auditors.
Manage and coordinate daily accounting transactions and fixed assets accounting.
Creating journal entries in the accounting systems (accruals, provisions, IFRS accounting)
Administering payrolls, payables and receivables controlling income and expenditure.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable with general ledgers coordination with GFSS
Ensure timely bank payments and bank reconciliations and coordination with shared services centre.
Preparing and filing VAT returns
Preparing corporate tax returns and TP documentation in coordination with the Finance Manager
Ad hoc reporting as and when required by management.
Competencies/ Profile:
Excellent knowledge in IFRS Standards, UAE business taxation and transfer pricing
Integrity: Deep-rooted professional moral and business compliant conduct partnered with honesty.
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Work methodology: Structured approach to tasks given with a self-efficient, solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications & experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a mandatory with a preferable credential of ACCA/CMA/CPA/CA.
Minimum 5 years' post qualification experience financial reporting and taxation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Should have experience in MNC environment.
