We are delighted to, together with SBCs corporate members United Trademarks and Patent Service and Grounded Design, invite you to the first Business Breakfast of the year, focusing on the theme of Intellectual Property.
United Trademarks and Patent Service is a legal firm with a rich history spanning over 70 years. As an Intellectual Property (IP) Rights and Issues expert, they will provide us with valuable guidance on how to navigate the complex landscape of trademarks, patents, and copyrights, all integral intellectual property components.
The event will take place at Grounded Design's showroom in Al Quoz, a boutique interior design studio specialising in residential, commercial and hospitality projects. Bani Singh founded Grounded Design in 2017 building on her Scandinavian heritage, creating perfectly balanced designs.

SPEAKERS:
Mona Adel, Legal Consultant at United Trademarks and Patent Services. Mona has over eleven years of experience representing clients across a wide range of industries ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups in all aspects of trademark, copyright, patent, designs, and domain name enforcement and litigation.
Nevin Jacob Koshy, Partner and Head of the Patent and Design department at United Trademarks and Patent Services. With more than 16 years of professional experience, Nevin has held roles as a research scientist, intellectual property (IP) consultant at esteemed companies, including his tenure in the technology transfer department in the United Kingdom.
Grounded Design is the brainchild of Bani Singh. Through a nontraditional path, building on her background in sociology, Bani designs homes that reflect the person’s personality and style, where the home becomes an extension of the person themselves. Grounded Design is now working with discerning and appreciative clients throughout Dubai.
