Sundowner in Abu Dhabi

  • Saadiyat Beach Club (map)

Countries in the GCC have seen spectacular economic growth in 2022 and the projected GDP in the region for 2023 is more than twice the pace we forecast for the global economy. While GCC member states continue to diversify and boost their economies, it is necessary to adapt the legislative framework to this dynamic environment. We have seen sweeping legal reforms in the last year aiming to strengthen investment and commercial opportunities.

Against this landscape, the Swedish Business Council is delighted to invite you to an evening seminar on legal changes and opportunities in the UAE and the GCC. Attendees will hear from Anders Nilsson, Managing Partner of  Bird & Bird, an international law firm and some of his colleagues.

The first part of the session will take you through the latest major legislative changes and legal reforms and discuss both current challenges and opportunities. As a final part, there will be time for questions and hopefully a good discussion”.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Speaker: Anders Nilsson is the Managing partner and Head of Corporate and Aviation practices for the Middle East offices for Bird & Bird (MEA) LLP.
