Business opportunities in Iran has been on the agenda for the last few years and hopes were high when the agreement between Iran and the US came into place. The American President is about to decide on the future of the Iran agreement in just a few days and the latest developments on the situation are happening as we speak.
Swedish law firm Magnusson is hosting a conference in Stockholm just a few days before the announcement by the US President on the 12th May. Guest speakers from the American congress and experts on Iran from around the world will participate in the event in Stockholm, to provide expert analysis and interpret the latest events in the matter. Saideh Yayhevi, lawyer and Iran expert at Magnusson Law, will join the conference in Stockholm, and fly straight back to Dubai to share the news with us.
We therefore invite you to this unique breakfast seminar where you will get the very latest analysis and facts on Iran. Accompanying Saideh at the seminar is Henry Smith, well-known Iran expert at Control Risks.
The seminar will touch upon
- What does Trump’s decision (or not) tell us about the US’s foreign policy to Iran and the region?
- What can we expect in terms of changes to US, EU and UN sanctions (if anything)?
- How have companies been preparing for this and what can we say about their response at this early stage?
- How are other signatories of the JCPOA likely to react? What does this mean for doing business with Iran?
