The Swedish Julbord, on Friday the 8th December, threw us all into the right Christmas spirit! The food, the 150 imported pine cones and the great company - everything was there!

On Friday the 8th December, SBC invited members and guests to Dukes Hotel on Jumeirah the Palm, to indulge in a traditional Swedish Julbord. Guests could find all the must-have dishes on the traditional Christmas buffé and the venue was set to get everyone into the festive spirit. The fireplace was lit (although in a digital version), the 150 imported pine cones from Sweden were painted and decorated with name tags for guests to find their seats, the welcome drink and the seasonal melodies from the speakers - no detail was overseen.

More than a hundered guests attended the annual SBC Christmas dinner. Lisette Uhlmann treated us to some lovely Christmas songs and the raffle was filled with amazing prizes from some of our sponsors. The Emirates flight to Stockholm or Copenhagen was the most sought after prize and Dylan Fjällström, CEO of Clearwater Maintenance, was the lucky winner this time.
